From The UPHC President….. Can you believe the UPHC Show season has come and gone for this year?  Boy, what a lot of fun it has been.  I’d like to thank our members, sponsors, participants, volunteers, and the Board of Directors for helping UPHC have another successful show year.  We couldn’t have done it without everyone’s hard work, dedication, and support.  Our Club is continuing to grow.  Well organized, professional, and friendly shows have become our reputation throughout the country! We have some excellent candidates running for Board of Directors this year.  I encourage each of you to vote for those who you feel would provide the kind of leadership you want to represent you in our club.  You should have received or will soon be receiving your ballots to vote for your 2007 directors.  Please make sure your ballots are mailed back by October 21, 2006. New Board Members will be announced at the Fall Social and General Membership Meeting which will be held on Saturday, October 28^th, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. at the Bierman Residence (10675 South 1225 East Sandy, Utah). Please mark your calendar and come hungry for a BBQ hosted by the UPHC!  We look forward to seeing you there! Jeff Rydalch 2006 Year End-Final Standings… The final standings are out! Check the website or watch future newsletters for more information. 2007 Stallion Service Auction… The 2006 Stallion Service Auction Futurities paid out $16,888.00 and the ONLY way to get a share of the money is to breed to one of the outstanding stallions consigned to the UPHC Auction. Plans are underway for 2007 which may bring some changes to the SSA. Among the ideas being considered are an "Online" Auction, or possibly going to a "Nomination" format rather than the auction format we've been doing.
